Stuff I’ve done (and things I find interesting)
Let’s create the digital world we want to see.
Throughout my career, I have been driven by the challenge of finding creative solutions to complex, human-centered problems:
What’s the ethical digital experience that would glue 10,000 teens to their screens?
How can we bring politicians from different spectrums together to improve public health?
What kind of service design would encourage patients to undergo an HIV test?
This pursuit has led me through project management, marketing communications, and digital design.
With a background in startup-spirited not-for-profit organizations, my focus has always been on maximizing positive impact with limited resources.
In other words, creating valuable user experiences. With little money. Embracing trial, error, and success. Maintaining an agile mindset.

As a project designer at Hivpoint, my colleagues appreciated the new ideas, positive drive and structured approach I brought to our concept creation and public awareness campaign planning. In particular, I enjoyed bringing a touch of human-centered design into our process-centered routines.
Key results:
◾ through my qualitative research, our team gained new insights on under-served client groups in healthcare
◾with this client data in mind, I designed and executed several in-person and digital HIV testing and outreach campaigns aimed at high-risk client segments
◾ I designed communications material (print + digital) and workshops for public healthcare professionals about diversity and vulnerability questions in sexual health services. Yearly, we gave workshops to over 2000 healthcare professionals.
◾ I lead and executed the yearly analysis and evaluation process of Hivpoint’s health care services and their social impact.
In this role, I helped facilitate co-creative customer insight sessions for clients with an immigrant background. During the day, using service design methods, our groups generated new ideas and unexpected insights to better serve multicultural communities in Finland. These customer insights have been an invaluable piece to Hivpoint’s communications and health care processes.

Alongside my studies, I worked three summers with Nordea Finance, the largest bank in the Nordics. At my job as a “first responder” in corporate factoring customer service, I helped corporate clients with their daily invoicing processes and troubleshooted ledger issues.

During my career at Nordea, added responsibilities at risk management and contract preparation.
I managed account receivables and informed companies on financing products available in conjunction with our sales department.
I also worked part time at Nordea Finance's customer credit department which included working directly with clients and being the B2C face of Nordea, ensuring a pleasant customer experience while delivering reliable financial services.
